in Bluffton, Texas with a nice big sandy beach at the back yard. Your group will
have a lot of fun at this great lake rental house!
This delightful lake house is only 90
minutes northwest of Austin, 95 minutes north of San Antonio, 3 hours south of Dallas/Ft.
Worth, and 3 1/2 hours west of Houston.

Lake Buchanan has a fluctuating water level and at this
location as the lake gets lower the beach just gets bigger for more fun and games in the
sand. The water is shallow near the shore and has a nice sandy bottom.
Shaw Island Retreat has a wall of windows looking out
at the lake, a large deck, a large, shaded patio area under the home facing the lake and a
back yard right at the beach area.
This lake house can comfortably sleep 6 people in a
king-sized bed, a queen-sized bed and a futon bed.
Barbeque and Fire Pit
This home was designed with enjoyment of the lake in
mind. Guests love the fire pit during the evening at the lake.

Front Porch
You can sit on the front porch, the rear deck or enjoy
a cool breeze on the shaded patio under the home while watching activity on the lake.

The spacious area under Shaw Island Retreat is ideal

making this a very comfortable area for guests to gather during the day.

The living room has a spectacular view of the beach and
lake through a wall of windows. It has an attractive granite fireplace, and a sofa
and love seat.

The family room has a great view of the beach and the
lake through the many windows.
 
The Family Room
The family room has a TV with a DVD player. It
also has a stereo. A futon sofa-bed provides sleeping for 2
additional guests.
Kitchen of the Lake House
The kitchen has an island stove with a wine rack,
dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee pot, pots and pans, dinnerware, untensils and
everything you need for making snacks and meals while vacationing at the lake. All
you need to bring are your food and drinks.
 
Master Bedroom
The attractively decorated master bedroom has a great
view of the beach and the lake through a wall of windows. The glass door leads to
the rear deck facing the lake. It has a king-sized bed, and a TV.
A large walk-in closet is off the master bedroom.
 
The master bath has double sinks, a jacuzzi tub and a shower.
 
Second Bedroom
The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a large
dresser.
A bathroom with a tub/shower combination
is off the second bedroom..
A utility room with washer and dryer is available for
guests' use.
